I have a Technics SU-CH7 mini hifi. There is no sound coming from the unit, even headphones. In standby it has an 'E' flashing on the radio message unit. This 'E' still flashes when the unit is switched on. The speakers are wired correctly, they are bi-wired. Definately not shorting and wires a clearly in contact with the connectors. I suspect someone has shorted or something and the 'E' is an error or fault code. All other components and controls seem to be working normally, and the remote is present. Any ideas what I need to do to fix?
Regards,
Peter

Hello I have exactly the same problem did you have an answer since your question.
We think that the problem is power supplier...
Best regards,
Patrick.
The E is flashing because the clock needs setting. Press the Clock Set button and Day will flash. Use arrow keys to alter it. Press Clock Set button again and adjust hours. Then press it again and set minutes.
