I installed everything and it was working just fine until a few hours later when I turned my computer off. I closed everything like I'm supposed to and everything was installed correctly, I think because like I said it was working. When I came back the next day and turned on my computer and tried to use the Lifecam VX-1000 all I can get to work correctly is the mic. I get no video or pic at all and every now and then I get a message of initiation error. I attempted to calibrate it like the trouble shooter said but I can't get any video or pic at all to come up. Tried un and then re- installing it and no luck there. Anyone have any ideas at all as to how I can fix this problem? Please help.

just tried the control panel way of fixing it and there is no picture at all on the image preview. I can't seem to get any of the video or picture functions on the webcam to work. By that I mean there is no longer any images transmitting online or even comming up on the webcam when I open the program on the computer. I'm thinking it's defective and that I might just return it.
Could it be that I recently removed yahoo messenger from my computer? Does removing programs like that have anything to do with webcam preformance?
when i turn on my webcam now i get nothing but an initilization error message i tried just about everything to no avail if anyone out there know what to do please help
