Model #BH1304D I cannot get the dvd to work on this television and also would like to know where to get a remote as in the move we lost it.

There is a service which provides you with universal remote codes for every brand. If you don´t find anything in your manual, ask them.

no there isnt u have to get a new remote. The GE remote is cheap and the code is 0157. its the only code for that remote that works properly

have you tried changing the channel? unplug it for a while and see if it goes into setup mode. Use a unverisal remote if your old one dont work.

You will need the original remote control I,m afraid. The original remote is the Durabrand HYF-23A. On the original remote, incase you do have one, is a button marked TV/AV. That is the button that changes between the TV and the Audio/video inputs.
