Try replacing your power supply or better yet try to replace your memory, if you have any spare, i encountered this problem with an imb socket 478 motherboard, the power supply is good but there is no display nor any beeping sound, i though that the power supply would be the problem but not when i change the memory module it boot up nicely and has no problem ever since

HL-1250 shuts down by itself

Sounds as if this is an overheat or a short circuit. you may require a new laser engine or power supply. Disconnect the laser motor from the power supply and them turn it on. If your led's stay on, it's the laser engine. If not, it's the power supply.

Acer5920 stuck in configuring updates.

This is generally caused by bad blocks in the Master Boot Record(Table). The drive itself is probably not salvagable. You'll need a reputable reapir person to slave your drive to another system to get the data off.

Power cycles on/off without actually booting or starting

Unplug/replug try again. If fails, see if you are still under warranty with Philips.
