  • Make sure drivers are installed.
  • Ensure USB ports are enabled in BIOS.
  • Try a different USB plug.
I had an older version of this adapter. One day it just stopped working all together and nothing I did got it to work, on any computer. If the above steps don't resolve your problem, the adapter may have just stopped working all together.

The brake lights wont work. The brake light over

the break light wire on the lumina runs through the blinker switch or multifunction switch on the colum.. check there as well as at the tail light sockets. on the late 90s gm cars the sockets had a tendancy to rot away... use a test light at the brake light wire in the trunk and have a friend apply the break. if there is power then may have to get new tail lights. or replacement bulbs.

check the wire connection with the lights then bulbs okay then look on the inside of the box for an extra wire for power for the lights if that dosent work
