What is the operating system on the computrer ?
If it is Windows XP Sp1 then it will not support the WPA.
You can change the security to WEP.
Or you can update the Operating system to XP- SP2
Make sure that you are using the correct password while connecting to the network

I had a dell netbook with windows 7 wifi enabled and used (with permission and passkey) my neighbors wifi. that computer is now gone. now i have a 200 ibm thinkpad with the linksys wireless-b notebook...

This is caused by setting the encryption to WPA-RADIUS instead of
WPA-PSK on the client radio. Both the router and the client are
trying to find a RADIUS server with which to authenticate your system.
Switch the encryption to WPA-PSK (pre-shared key) on both ends and it
will work.

Windows was unable to find certificate to log on to the network

hi,
That's caused by improperly setting the encryption to WPA-RADIUS instead of WPA-PSK on the client. The router and the client are both trying to find a RADIUS server with which to authenticate. Since you
don't have one, it complains using Microsoft technobabble. Change the encryption to WPA-PSK (pre-shared key) on both ends.

HELP!!!!!! Trying to enable wpa-psk security on my laptop?

You should set the security on your computer wifi card to wpa-psk and then type in the securitycode which is written in your Zyxel Router.
If this is not possible with your networkcard, change to wpa or wpa2 inside the Zyxel. And do the same procedure with your networkcard, when detected the Router.

Enable WPA-PSK

Step 1 Log into the web-based configuration by opening up a web browser and typing in the IP address of the router (192.168.0.1). Step 2 The default username is admin (all lower case) and the password is blank (nothing). Click OK. Step 3 Click on the Home tab and then click Wireless on the left hand side. Step 4 Select WPA-PSK using the radio buttons. Step 5 Enter a key (passphrase). The key is an alpha-numeric password between 8 and 63 characters long. The password can include symbols (!?*&_) and spaces. Make sure you enter this key exactly the same on all other wireless clients. Step 6 Click on the Apply button then click on the Continue button to save your settings. Note: If you are configuring your router from a wireless adapter, you will lose connectivity as soon as you click Apply. You must enable WPA-PSK on your adapter and enter the same exact passphrase as you entered on your router.
