Bosch Series 2 front loader washing machine just washes but doesn't drain and spin. Also can't open the door locks as per Google search.

Question edited for clarity and typo.
Question moved to Bosch.

If you manually drain by lowering to drain hose into a bucket, you should be able to release the door lock by turning off the mains power. You can also try a reset.

I have a Bosch front load washer, Series 8 9kg WAW28420AU looking how to do a factory reset

I have never heard this before, but worth a try

Resetting your washing machine
  • First, you should perform a general reset of the machine. Turn the machine off at the power outlet, wait for one minute, and then turn it back on.
  • If you see no change, you can try a Master Reset. This will reset all of the onboard componentry and is often successfully used by appliance technicians. Open and close the door of the washing machine 6 times within 12 seconds. Then, run the rinse/spin cycle without clothing to see if your problems are resolved. If it drains, problem solved!

Bosch Washing Machine - f.23 and the door will not open - we can not locate the float to reset?

F23 is flood protection in base of machine activated. Pull machine forward onto a towel, pivot if 45 degrees forward onto the front feet (ie lift back feet of the floor about a foot) If water runs out from under the machine this will prove this. You will find that the machine will probably work ok now, but you will have to trace the leak of it will reoccur. likely causes are tear in door seal, leaky inlet valve, blocked dispenser inlet or as simple as something was caught in door on previous cycle allowing water to run down the front of the unit and into the base.
Hope this helps

F43

Hi.

If you have Bosch, Baumatic, or any other machine built by Bosch, then F43 is a motor issue:

Error F43 : Motor fault: do an emergency drain through the drain access in the front bottom side (see manual). Open door and check ig the drum rotates free when spin by hand. Disconnect power before performing maintenance.

Regards.

I'm getting a message on the screen "F23". the engine is making a sound all the bottons are non-functional and i can't open the door to get the laundry out. it froze

F23 that it indicates a leak into the base of the appliance.

You'll need to unplug the appliance and take the rear cover off.

Check for a spillage and if there is an anti flood device in the base, ensure it's reset/working or replace it.

Bosch washer door won't open after wash is done

The door is probably locked, because the water is still draining. If this is not the answer, the the suction between the dor and the opening is too strong and you must get it weakened by a professional. There is one more solution, and that is to unplug the machine, reset it, and then try opening the door.

Bosch SGV43A03 DISHWASHER: pump drains all the time, even if reset!

Typically you could possibly have a leak in the base or sump which activates a little float switch. This in turn switches the drain pump on continuously and deactivates the programing cycle.Sort out the leak.
