Clicking sound About every 3 minutes there is a single click sound, like a switch is turning off or on. Then 10 seconds later another single click sound. Since the sounds began, the freezer slowly quit, then about 8 hours later the fridge no longer is cooling.

Entrance light on Lift Master garage door opener won't stay on when door is opened ?

Light Feature
Activate the Light Feature
  1. Close the garage door.
  2. Start with the garage door opener lights "ON".
  3. Press and hold the light button for 10 seconds. (Upon pressing the light button, the lights will immediately turn off and come on 10 seconds later.)
Deactivate the Light Feature
  1. Close the garage door.
  2. Start with the garage door opener lights "OFF".
  3. Press and hold the light button for 10 seconds. (Upon pressing the light button, the lights will immediately turn on and go off 10 seconds later.)
Light Timer
Press the Light button to turn the opener light on or off. It will not control the opener lights when the door is in motion. If you turn it on and then activate the opener, the light will remain on for 4-1/2 minutes. Press again to turn it off sooner. The 4-1/2 minute interval can be changed to 1-1/2, 2-1/2, or 3-1/2 minutes as follows:
  1. Press and hold the Lock button until the light blinks (about 10 seconds).
  2. A single blink indicates that the timer is reset to 1-1/2 minutes.
  3. Repeat the procedure and the light will blink twice, resetting the timer to 2-1/2 minutes.
  4. Repeat again for a 3-1/2 minute interval, etc., up to a maximum of four blinks and 4-1/2 minutes.

TV goes to blank screen standby after one second of normal functioning green power light on. When in standby state, the TV is blank like it's off and the red standby light blinks FOUR times.

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

1999 olds aurora when you turn the key just says clean key wait 3 minutes

the key has magnet on it that may be weakening. It will have to be reprogrammed.

  1. Insert the first valid key into the ignition switch and turn the ignition switch ON for at least 3 seconds but no longer than 15 seconds. Turn the ignition switch OFF and remove the first key.
  2. Insert the second valid key and turn the ignition switch ON within 15 seconds. After ten seconds a chime will sound and the Theft Alarm Light will begin to flash. Turn the ignition switch OFF and remove the second key.
  3. Insert a new Key into the ignition switch and turn the ignition switch ON within 60 seconds. After 10 seconds a single chime will sound. The Theft Alarm Light will stop flashing, turn on for 3 seconds; then turn off. The new key has been programmed.

Amana AFD2535DEW freezer/refrigerator with intermittent tempurature swings

I had the same issue. It was the relay overload which essentially provides the extra boost to get the compressor going. The switch tries for about 10 seconds before giving up and then retries 3 - 4 minutes later. In the early stages of failure, eventually it will work and the compressor will kick on. But eventually the switch will fail and will just cycle through the 10 second attempt every 3 to 4 minutes. The part is about $35 - part number 67005560.

Refrigerator buzzing for 10 seconds every 4 or 5 minutes

Buzzing is usually a fan, like one in the freezer, or back bottom - for cooling the freon. The compressor over-heat usually will make a single click (off) and a few minutes later a click (on). If the fan in the freezer stops working well, the freezer will frost up and the fridge section will not be cold enough.
