Usually it is a number 1 or 2 phillips or they used a #10 Torx drive bit for the screws. if it is star in shape it is the torx.

DeWalt charger #DW9107 binks eraticly, even when battery is not installed, DC output is 35 volts, which is too high, the reading across all of the diodes on the circut bd in the converter circut is 5.8...

There could be a number of things wrong inside the charger, and could cause more problems trying to replace components on the board. Your best bet is to look on ebay or some other place to see if you can get a replacement charger.

I have a pd360 Type 2 3.6 Volt Pivot screw driver and I don't know how to charge it? I've misplaced my paper work for the tool. Can you help me?

Usually, the battery is removed from the tool and inserted into the charger base. Hopefully, the charger has not disappeared also. Good luck!

If i leave a battery charging too long (several days) it screws up both the battery and the charger

Sure! read your manual! It says "don't leave the charger hitched up longer than 8 hrs!" the battery heats up and the internal overload opens so it starts to discharge. jeez!

Dewalt battery charger won't charge

As you know, solid red on your charger means that the battery is fully charged and the BLINKING red light means the battery is charging. Unless the light is blinking irradically everything is working the way it is supposed to. If the light is blinking irradically, the battery may just be too hot or too cold to charge ( like when you are driving many lags and your battery dies) and in this case simply wait 15 minutes to charge. If you get a fast blinking light still, the problem probably is with the battery.
