    I have had TI connect for quite a while, and recently I started having the same issue. I'm running Windows 7. I was able to get it to work by forcing it to run in compatibility mode. To do this, you need to right-click on the program icon and click "properties". In the window that pops up, click the "Compatibility" tab, select the checkbox that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for", and select "Windows XP (Service Pack 3)" in the box below. Click OK and try to connect again.

When you change the batteries the display reverts to default setting. My optimistic guess is that the screen display is so light that you cannot see anything on it. This can be arranged.

A Try this before thinking of repairs.

  1. Push the ON button.
  2. Even if you see nothing, press the [2nd] key and release it.
  3. Press and HOLD the UpArrow key until the screen darkens.
  4. You may have to keep pressing UpArrow for a little while before you see anything.
B If that does not work
  1. Remove one of the AAA batteries.
  2. Press and hold the [CLEAR] key.
  3. Whileholding [CLEAR], reinsert the AAA battery and then
  4. turn the calculatoron.
  5. The calculator should display the message "RAM Cleared".
  6. Release the [CLEAR] key and then press it one more time to remove the message "RAM Cleared".
C. Third option

  1. Remove batteries including the backup battery for 5minutes.
  2. After the 5 minute period, reinsert all of the batteries and
  3. turn the calculator on.
  4. Adjust the contrast if necessary.
D. Last option

The last option requires the reinstallation of the system. So to use it you must download the TIConnect 1.6 software from education.ti.com. You must have the TI USB SilverLink or the TI Black serial cables ready.You must be connected to the Internet.
  1. Remove one of the AAA batteries.
  2. Press and hold the [DEL] key.
  3. Whileholding [DEL], reinsert the AAA battery and then
  4. turn the calculatoron.
  5. The calculator should display "Waiting...Please install calculator software now".
  6. Connect the TI Connectivity cable between the computer and the calculator.
  7. Click on Start >> Programs >> TI Tools >> TI Connect >> TI OSDownloader.
  8. Follow the on-screen directions to reinstall the calculator's OS.
Ifthe message "Error! Press any key to turn unit off. Then turn unit backon." appears on the graphing calculator, quickly, remove one batteryfrom the calculator and reinstall it while the transfer is taking place.

Can you freeze Rappie pie leftovers

Yes freezing works very well for pies. Just make sure you don't keep the pie warm for a long time before you decide to freeze it so that bacteria don't have time to develop. I'm not sure what a Rappie pie is, but I find that freezing works fine for me with any type of pie.

Coils freezing up..is this normal? Not sure how this is supposed to work. Could it be that it freezes the water, then turns off and empties into the pan?

The coils should not freeze up. If the fan is working, try lowering the setpoint to just below actual humidity. This will allow the dehumidifier to run and shut so water can drip off without freezing. If that works, slowly lower the setpoint over the next day or so. If the setpoint is too low, the unit runs continuously until it freezes, then never shuts down.

The freeze protection just quit qorking when it dropped to freezing i turned the dial to 45 and it still will not come on has been working non stop for about 4 days. i am in the dfw area

You can replaced the freeze control without buying entire timer:

Google: "Intermatic thermostat freeze control" to see cross selection of choices.
For example Smarthome sells PF1103 for $80: works for 120 or 240

To prevent freezing right now, the pump should run full time, so pull trippers off the timer dial, and mover override lever to ON position. This will keep the pump running.
When the temperature rises, put trippers back on dial, and then order new part.

Are there freeze plugs on a 2005 Chevy Equinox? We had a hard freeze last night and now the heater doesn't work.

Freeze plugs are actually Core plugs for the block to get the sand out when casting the engine block from cast iron. They actually have nothing to do with freezing, or the heater. What do you mean by "doesnt work" ??? doesnt blow at all? doesnt blow hot?

please make sure first freeze,s compressor and fan is working if both are working and it,s not getting freeze then there possible any leak in your freeze so please contact to your maintenance personnel for find out this leak and make brazing it. and then refill the gas in your freezing system, i hope after that it will work well.

Freeze panes doesn't work in mac excel

HOW TO FREEZE THE TOP ROW OF EXCEL FOR MAC:

Wow - using the above ideas I figured out how to freeze the top row!!! Thanks guys!! Here's how:

1.) Use 'Normal' View (i.e. look up at tool bar, hover over 'View' and make sure 'Normal' is checked)
2.) Select cell B2 (only the cell, not the row or the column)
3.) Click 'Window' (from the tool bar at the top of your screen)
4.) Click 'Freeze Panes'

Refrigerator not that cold and freezer not freezing well

between the door and freezer is very hot, and the refrigerator is not that cold and the freezing is freezing but not that well, ice cream is soft but meat freeze and ice is not melting. Also behind the fridge at the bottom is very hot.

Water dispensor is not working, ice dispensor is work fine

It depends on where it is freezing. Can you determine where the freezing is? These things don't usually clog. They can develop what is called a vapor lock in the water dispenser behind the meat drawer in the refer. For freezing let me know where it is freezing.
