Manual is here: https://www.flowtron.com/manuals/357%203151%20REV%2011%20LE-900%208pg%20OM.pdf Says on Page 9 to "Remove screw and "O" ring, lift spinner off shaft." I would assume you need to hold the spinner from moving when removing the screw. If the screw threads are stripped and it turns but won't back out see if you can grab the screw head with pliers or vise-grips.
I would recommend contacting the manufacturer. The warranty was 1 year. If you are at 13 -14 months, I would ask Flowtron for some help in getting it replaced. Sometimes manufacturers are willing to split the cost of a repair that is near the warrany end to help keep a customer satisfied. It is worth trying. Good luck.
The screw is a common one, Make sure it is at least a grade 5 or grade 8. The o-ring may be another matter, but should be available at hardware and most definitely a hydraulic hose shop would have it.
www.Flowtron.com is the website for this company. I saw some replacements strings Part# LER100 for about 5 dollars. I did some additional looking but could not find a size on the string but hope finding the website helps. Good Day.
Shot in the dark here. If the mulcher is tripping and needs to turned off then back on, it's defective and should be replaced. If the circuit breaker in your house panel is tripping, try to use different circuit on a 20 amp circuit breaker. If your using a plug that is controlled by a GFCI receptacle or breaker, move to a different plug. GFCI receptacles tend trip when motor loads are applied. These are my best guesses since I'm not sure what exactly you are reseting.
I have an electric weedwacker which may be different. In the leaf wacker there are four small holes very near the center screw on the revolving shaft. These holes form two small tunnels. cut two pieces of line (10-12 inches) and stick one through each tunnel. Center each line, put the two ends together and poke them out through the small hole on the edge of the rotating shaft. You end up with two sets of plastic line facing out from the central shaft. Flowtron may be different. Good luck.
I just replaced my Flowtron cutting string. That screw in the middle comes off if you turn it hard enough. Then the spool lifted off. I took it to the hardware store to get the right gage string, and installed it like the old. It was curly though, and got caught under the spool when I used it. Then the motor quit and won't start. So I just posted that problem. ~ CarolK
