WS-65511 turn itself off after turned on a few seconds, the error code is 2-2, I read some solutions related to this problem and checked the 2 pico fuses F9A04 and F9A05, the F9A04 is blown, what I should check next? can I get detailed instructions on how to fix this problem? thanks!

Green power light now comes on and goes out in few seconds:
On front of set (not the remote) press and hold when that happens both the menu and input buttons for at least 5 seconds and release both.
Power light will blink a 2 digit code like 2 blinks, 2 blinks, pause and repeat that several times---this is an error code---let me know what code you find.
Note: if you have unplugged the set it clears the error codes and you have to plug back and try to turn set on--let it fail and repeat the self check.

Hi, Most common problem in WS-55819 is failure of convergence output chips and blown pico fuses in power supply section. You need to read out error code in tv, procedure is as follows: Pressing the front panel "INPUT" and "MENU" buttons at the same time, and holding for 5 seconds, activates the Error Code Mode. The LED flashes denoting a two digit Error Code, or indicating no problem has occurred since the last Initialization. Note: The front panel buttons must used, NOT those on the Remote Control. • The number of flashes indicates the value of the MSD (tens digit) of the Error Code. • The flashing then pauses for approximately 1/2 second. • The LED then flashes indicating the value of the LSD (ones digit) of the Error Code. • The Error Code is repeated a total of 5 times. Example: If the Error Code is "24", the LED will flash two times, pause, and then flash four times. Error codes detail: The Error Code designations indicating a malfunction, or no malfunction, are listed below: "12" ... indicates no error has occurred. "21" ... X-Ray Protect circuit. "22" ... Short Protect circuit. "23" ... Horizontal Deflection failure. "24" ... Vertical Deflection failure. This way you can determine what section got problem in tv and causing problem. Thanks for using FixYa. Error code 2-2 means short
protect which is either caused by bad convergence ICs and/or 2 Pico fuses
(F9A05 and F9A04). You’ll need to open the back of the unit and replace the
parts that have gone bad to resolve this issue. Please

Ok, try this first. After attempting to turn on set after it shuts off push and hold the MENU and INPUT buttons at the same time on the front of the set for 10 seconds. This should acccuate the self diagnostics function in the micro and the power LED should start blinking a two sequence code. That code will narrow things down.
I have had my WS-65511 fail like this, first at 4 years, second 2 weeks later, then 3rd time yesterday (4/14/2009). In past, the tech replaced a thermal sensor p/n 299P313010A (but Mitsubishi says that part is not for WS-65511 and that it does not have a thermal sensor - go figure). It is a white rectangle with about 30 pins in 2 rows and is soldered onto a board in the TV. List price is about $25. Might be your problem.
