the map unit is in dire need of upgrade some routes in my area are not
to be found? Especially US30.
the salesperson at ABC Wharehouse has indicated that even some more expensive unit are not fully initialized with updated maps? I would think if a product is purchased it should be prperly loaded aand able to be used properly.the jensen nvx200 was a christmas gift 2007

Here is the reply that I jsut got from Jensen/Audiovox:
"I am sorry, but this product line has been discontinued and there are will be no updates issued for the mapping software. Audiovox will continue to support these units for service and repair issues. I apologize for any disappointment this may have caused.

My reply to them was less than polite or politically correct... I think that I may have used a few choice words better left unsaid... NEVER again will I purchase the model that saves you money... because now I'm stcuck with a piece of **** that is 3 years out of date

Can't find info on updating the maps.
Just bought it, and the map seems to be about ten years old.
My maps are way out of date (2006) and when calling custoer service I always get the same answer "it will probably be available 6 motnhs from now".
Let me know if and where I can get updates!!!
