Hi,Sometimes its something simple.Did you close the door cover,it has a switch that wont let lamp power on if its not pressed.Did you reset the lamp timer? you can do this by unplugging the tv wait 5 min and plug it back again.Any strange noises like clicking or buzzing sounds? If you heard clicking it will be an issue w the board that powers the lamp its called the ballast. If you heard buzzing it could be an issue with the color wheel, which is a small disc that creates tyhe colors on your tv. Last question did you get the Original Philips lamp or a generic? If you got a generic send it back for testing or get refund and get yourself the original.Email me if you have further questions at [email protected] have a blessed life!
OK IT SOUNDS LIKE THE BALLAST (MOTOR) IS NOT SENDING THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF VOLTAGE TO THE LAMP, TO POWER UP SPECIALLY IF THE LAMP IS NEW, IT REQUIRES A KICK OF 15,000 VOLTS TO SPARK UP THE LAMP AND IF THE BALLAST IS NOT WORKING CORRECTLY IT WILL NEVER IGNITE, I DID SOME RESEARCH AND HERE IS THE PART NUMBER FOR THE BALLAST THAT IS FOR YOUR TV SET BP47-00027A
