Moving a Mitsubishi HD1080 Medallion series 55

I bought a Mitsubishi HD1080 Medallion series 55'' TV in 2003. I now have to move it across town. Is there anything I need to know about moving it?

Hi,

Actually no just need to HANDLE WITH CARE and make sure you protect the screen,you can cut a piece of cardboard same size of you screen to protected from any object,you TV has mirrors inside just be careful,other then that you will be OK.

Distorted picture after moving across town
You may have knocked your guns out of alignment. There should be calibration settings in the main menu. Can you post a picture of the display so we can see what you mean by "distorted."

I have an mitsubishi medallion hd1080 big screen tv model# ws-55819 getting code 1,2. (hold the menu and input)
Try to unplug set and try it again as if the set was unplugged and then the self check done it will be 1,2 which means NO ERROR detected.

Let me know also what the set does?

On your Mitsubishi remote you will have a QV (Quick View) button. When the television asks for the code, just press and hold the QV and then number 9 button at the same time and it will unlock the set.
I would also go into the main menu and remove the code using the same procedure.

Pinching in at the sides and has blurry rainbow coloring on top and bottom.
