It is best to identify hardware by brand and model number when querying. And it would be helpful to know if you are printing by wireless connection or USB cable. Also, it would be nice to know the medium from which you obtained a printer driver --a CD, a manufacturer's site, or from Windows generic printer drivers. That said, it looks like a software problem. Most advice would include uninstalling the software for the printer (such as the driver) and reinstalling such from the manufacturer's site for that brand of printer. However, in this case, there may be additional measures required. Go to the following link and scroll to the bottom. The last reply details a procedure which may fix the problem. It is a more detailed procedure for uninstalling the possibly troublesome software and its effects. https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Inkjet-Printing/Printer-will-scan-and-print-but-will-not-print-from-computer/td-p/6176470
Bluetooth is available with some HP printers as a wireless printing option. Read the blog to Connect HP Bluetooth Printer to Laptop
and set up the connection to start printing.
1. Turn on the wireless radio on the printer.
2. On your laptop, open the list of wireless networks that you can connect to. You'll see a network named 'hpsetup'. You'll need to connect to this network. Ignore any security warnings and proceed with the connection.
3. Wait for 1 minute after this is done. Then print a network settings page from the printer. It should have an IP address starting with 169.254. This means that the printer is connected.
4. Click on the Support & Drivers link at the top of this page and download the drivers for the Photosmart C4385, and install it.
Use the setup wizard given in the CD along with the printer.
Check if the printer drivers have been installed in the laptop.
Donot connect the printer before installing the software.
Initially use the CD and follow the instructions on the screen
You will be prompted to connect the Printer after the installation is done.
Connect and then try a test print when instructed.
Is the printer connected locally to this print? If so move it to a computer that has been working ok and try it on that computer. If the problem moves with the printer then the problem is the printer not the driver or computer. If the printer is networked make sure the IP address is not the same as another devise on the network. Also print to it from another computer on the network and see if it prints.
Do do not need internet access to print from a local printer. Just make sure the driver is installed it the operating system does not install it for you.
