I'm not familiar with your camera but most of them have a listing in the menu for "copy" with instructions on how to transfer from the internal memory to the memory card.

When cmera card is inserted into SD port can't download images

ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS TO COMPUTER
If your photos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

I need to recover accidently erased image files from my sd card for my Canon S2-IS camera

First of all, do not save any new file to camera's memory card.

Take out memory card, and connect it to computer using a card reader. You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in Windows Explorer.
Download this photo recovery software
http://www.asoftech.com/apr/
Install and open the photo recovery software, select the memory card, and click 'Start' button.

Canon CP760 will not recognize images. I loaded

hi,
you can try picasa-the free photo software by google to do all simple photo editing. after editing directly print the photo from the program(rather than transfering to sd card) as this will reduce chances of non-recognition by printer.
