I don'twhat happened to the remote but it doesn't work anymore. The TV it belongs to is a Pink Diamond Vison 13" TV. I have a DVD player (also of the same brand) hooked up to the TV. I want to watch a movie but since the remote doesnt work it wont switch from TV to AV. There is no button for that on teh TV. What Should I do? Is there a trick at the back of the TV or in the Menu or something to change it to AV?
SOLUTION: I had the same problem with a Diamondvision DTV3913. After trying many universal remote controls, I found one that worked. The RCA universal remote CRCR3273 / CRCR3373 (also referred to as RCR3273 / RCR3373) was the answer. It has 3 codes (1232, 1233,1234) for DiamondVision TVs and the first one worked. It gives me all the control I needed including the hard to get ones like input selection, main setup menu etc. It also has codes for DiamondVision DVD players and VCRs. I see it at BestBuy for $8.
These remotes must have an issue because my daughter and I also are having the same problem.. Such a pain.
I also have the same problem, I'm trying to program my satellite remote for our diamond vision and am having no luck....even called customer service. Oh and "areedill"....don't be a smartass.
I had this same problem. Couldn't find a universal remote that would work, so here's what I did. I plugged my old vcr into the back of the tv (using coaxial cable) then plugged my dvd player into the back of the vcr with rca jacks. Works fine now. If you don't have a vcr, you can probably pick one up for 20 bucks or less nowadays, cheaper than all the remotes I tried.

lol i have the same problem bought the tv less than 1 year ago and the remote gave out and i cant get another one that is pretty good you buy a tv and when the remote breaks you have to buy a new tv good way to make sales.....lol

I too have a Diamond Vision 13" tv and what I am finding is the remote eats batteries. In other words, I put new batteries in and in 24-48 hours they're dead. If you don't take the batteries out when you are not using the remote, the remote drains them. So I want to use a Universal remote but the codes for it do not list Diamond Vision. I understand DV is made by another bigger company - does anyone know what it is? (Stupid that you need your remote to switch from tv to av.)
my diamond tvs remote also stopped working after a year, but luckily i have a tv/av button on the tv so dont need a remote to change....the problem is, as told to me by a salesman....diamond only makes like one set of a certain model and the universal remote people dont bother to add it to their list cause next week a new model will be out
