I own a 2002 Honda CRV. I bought it used and no owners manual was provided with the purchase. I lost power to the car's system and the radio set itself in an anti-theft mode requiring a code to get the radio to function again. I tried pushing several buttons and now only get an "error" message. How do I reset this radio?
Hi Ed
Please see the following article posted here.
It explains where to find the code on your vehicle. It is on a white sticker "somewhere" in or on your vehicle. This could be as simple as the glovebox door, to the engine compartment to the inside of the center console.
It is a 5 digit code.
Good Luck

For the 05 Civic
If you have an Error message the system rejects the 5 digit code. All you need to do is de-energize the system to get back to code mode. The easiest way to do this is to pull the 10 amp fuses out of the fuse block and then re-insert them. The system will now take the code.
