My N95 Nokia phone which was only purchased 2 weeks ago from a Telstra Dealer now has a BLANK screen, phone still works as i can dial 101 messages but cannot see a thing on the screen!! I have tried switching the phone and off but the screen remains stubbornly blank. Any suggestions before i join the long queues at Telstra??
It must be a connection problem, to the LCD, or the light is not working.
Can only be sorted by looking at it really.
Back to Telstra I'm afraid. If it's new let them sort it out, if it's not try a reset take the sim card out first then input this code *#7780# (Best to use this code as a last resort)
Give it time to work.

There's probably water vapour on the back of the LCD screen, same thing happen to me, just dry it our by holding a hair dryer to it. best to take the battery out though.
recently my phone(n95) screen started to flicker black whenever i slided it open, but then went back to normal and then like a couple of hours later the entire screen went black. I cant see anything. the backlights work and i can call and recive calls, but have no idea what numbers i type or who is calling. Any help would be appreciated.
I just had the same problem and i pressed *,3, and answer buttons at the same time on startup and it worked!!
People this is not the proble dont listen to these people if the screen was wrecked it would show a ranibow effect it is the ribbon cable connecting the phone to the screen these are and easy fix $30 and easy instalation i had the very same proble and i didnt touch mine i typed a text closed the screen and it died i changed the ribbon and its fine no.
Its the screen problem, u gtta purchase a brand new nokia n95 screen. that will sort the problem out properly.
My Nokia 95 got hit rather hard and the screen went black. The buttons still work but I can't see what they're doing. Is it completely stuffed or is there any way of sorting it out?

I have one with that same problem and when i tested the screen on another nokian95 it worked fine, so can you please point me to how i can change the ribbon and which stores would sell it? I had similar problem with blank display. Try this: Remove battery and Sim card and Memory data card. Replace battery and turn on phone. With my problem I then reset factory defaults. Then replace sim card and battery and turn on. You may have to choose on line mode when prompted. Cheers
I had same prob with my nokia 6120 which just kept getting blank screen or lines. I was writing an sms at the time. I fixed problem by updating the software/firmware from Nokia website. Back to normal yay!

When i turn my cellphone on it lights up, but stays blank and i cant see anything, but when i connect the phone to my tv, everything is working but my screen on the cellphone is still blank.

my silver n95 has just gone blank, it still works i can call from it but cant see anything, most of my numbers are stored on the phone, so when i transfer the sim and memory card i dont have my numbers! so i tried hooking it upto nokia pc suite on my laptop to transfer everything off my phone but it says my phones in transfer mode and wont connect, how can i take it off transfer mode when i cant see what im doing! is there anyone out there who can talk me through it?
