Hi.

FC error is Control Board communication error.

Try to reset the error disconnecting power for two minutes.
Trip the circuit breaker or disconnect power cord.

If that does not clear the error, the appliance must be taken apart to test ribbon cable to display panel and buttons.

Here all parts and diagrams.

If you need to call a technician, or if you want to get a quote on repair you can use the number listed on the owners manual.

Regards.

Hi there, I was wiping down my oven and hit one of these buttons the timer went off, my oven now won’t work and I have no idea what to do ?

Is there any letters that it is displaying on the LCD screen? If so it could be in lock mode or display mode.
Locate the "Cancel" and "Cook & Hold" buttons on the oven's control panel.
Hold down "Cancel" then hold "Cook & Hold" with another finger for three seconds. Both buttons must be held together.
Wait three seconds; the display will change from "OFF" to "LOCK" and the door will seal.
Repeat these instructions to unlock the door. The door lock cannot be activated if the oven is in use.

Oven start button not working

Thank you for the full model number I was able to pull up the electrical schematic first turn the circuit breaker off for 30 seconds then back on if you get a PF just hit the cancel button it's the same as rebooting your computer, do you still have a display is the time showing if not you have either an open thermal fuse stopping power to the control or a bad control, if you have a display push and hold the cancel/off for 5 seconds this should place you in diagnostics error codes always start with an F number E number example F0E0 no errors I wish I could be of more help but I have service many oven with the exact problem you are having and it's 50/50 as to a bad control or keypad each are dependent on each other on the back of the control panel there should be a plastic packet with the technical sheet hopes this helps

My oven door is locked closed. Also, it reads F8 and beeps. In order to stop the beeping, the cancel/off button must be hit. When I do that, the fan turns on for about a minute and then stops and goes back...

Hello,

The control board runs self checks about every 10 seconds to check the oven codition, and what the F8 error code means is it has detected a problem with the control board itself and it needs to be repalced

Re: my whirlpool digital oven

The red key sign is a lock against children. To cancel it you have to hold the two buttons at the same time for 5 seconds (you activate it the same way).

The STOP sign appears after the cooker switches of after a power cut. You just have to press the left button, and, using the right knob, set the time.

My oven is beeping!

Try turning it off at the mains, then whilst turning it on, press and hold the cancel button.
Check the fuse and any other electrics on the same ring; eg. Washing Machine - this can indicate that the circuit breaker has tripped, replace any fuses and check integrity of electric on that circut, then flick it back on.
