Theoretically, you can't format a more than 32 GB drive with FAT/FAT32 file system. In your case you have to choose the NTFS file system to format your 64 GB USB flash drive. However, if you really need to format it with FAT32, you got to use the command line or a third party tool. Hope this is going to help you.

that problem is usually caused by a failure of the hardware to properly recognize the USB drive, clean the contacts with WD-40 or with a contact cleaner. Try a different USB port.

Copy your files off the card. Then Format the card and select FAT32 file system. After the format is done try the card again and see if you can copy more files to it.

Hi, I couldn't get any software utility or firmware updater/repair from the Kingston site, however, I have tried the HP Drive Key Boot Utility and it works even for Kingston and JetFlash. The bad side is it completely erases the contents of the USB drive.
