Problem
My handset displays either LOAD DELTA FILE or LOAD DEFAULT DELTA FILE. What should I do?

If the handset is not responding normally, you may need to reset your telephone system. Complete the following steps to reset the telephone system:
Step 1: Disconnect the power to the telephone base.
Step 2: Disconnect the handset battery.
Step 3: Wait a few minutes and then reconnect the power to the telephone base.
Step 4: Reconnect the handset battery
Step 5: Wait about one minute for the handset to re-establish a link with the telephone base and then test the phone again.
I followed the instructions to the letter and the handset is now working and useable. Thanks for solving the problem.

AWesome. Worked! Problems removing battery with red and black cables attached? Use needle nose pliers! Then follow steps above. Worked. Follow steps above now. ttery and red and black cables as one unit. Follow above. Worked!

All you have to do is disconnect the battery and then reconnect it. Phone will display "connecting" and be perfectly fine.
My Staples Tech found this above. When I followed the above steps, phone handset worked like a charm!

I disconnected the battery, waited a few seconds, reconnected the battery and set it on the charger. Working great!

Try reset that particular cordless phone,
Turn
off the phone, remove the AC adapter, press and hold the page/call
button that is on the phone and plug back your Ac adapter, that should fix the problem.
