Check Device Manager.


Right click My Computer > Manage. Select Device Manager
Do you have any Unknown Devices listed with a ? Specially in Network adapters. Installing the drivers might identify and resolve.


XP and Vista
Choose HP Mini 2140 Lan Driver link. Download. Run sp42092.exe. Go to extracted folder (eg. c:\SWSetup\SP42092) Run Setup.

Flashing the bios with a wrong one WILL destroy the mainboard.
You have to be 100% sure its the right one.
