Sometimes when this happens you need to unplug everything but the power cord, keyboard, mouse and monitor. Then start it up see if it does it again if it doesnt then it was something that was plugged in. If it works just plug everything back in when it boots up. If it doesnt and if you installed new hardware try taking it out then starting it up. If it works then it was the hardware you installed.

Quicker Startup/Shutdown

Plug in device and view memory contents, delete the startup/shutdown(antitheft) images (back them up if you want).

Unit should startup/shutdown faster now.

You could also use this method to change the images to your own personalized startup/shutdown pics. Just copy over your pics, and name them to the same names of the images that were on the tomtom.

I have a Digital Trio Viewer and the software will no auto load. I have charged the device for a couple of hours.

Is your system XP? If so, try this, disconnect the device once it is charged for whatever length of time, then connect it again, your computer should then find the unit as an external drive and launch the application to load the pictures. If this does not work, disconnect the device, shutdown the computer then connect the unit before starting the computer so it will recognize the unit at bios startup, then go to the drive represented by the digital trio viewer and launch the application. Good luck. P.S. If everything else fails call the 800#.
