Samsung Digimax 401 software CD

Hi I have lost my software Cd which enables me to upload my digital camera pics to the computer..... I have tried to download the info from the samsung website but its telling me the info i need can't be found......
I really need to upload some pics asap to mail them over, do you know of anywhere else that i could download/obtain the software from

    Bought new laptop and sold my old computer. Unfortunately, I cannot find my CD for my camera and I need to download the software.

    bought a new lap top, windows vista, lost my software cd for my digimax 401 digital camera. got loads of pics and memorable videos of my children and past family members, need to put on the computer to e-mail them. cant do this with out the disc, what can i do now? i have looked and looked, searched e-bay and still no luck!! i need to be able to do this asap, im very dissapointed. :(

    I have my CD for my camera, but it doesn't work with Vista. I can't even find this camera on Samsungs website to download an updated version, if there is one.

Got to the link below and download the driver cd for the camera (choose the 401 model)
Install the driver on the computer.
After that use any image viewer software to download the pics from your camera
let me know if you need further help

Forget the disc. Use a separate card reader to download your pics.

Sir..., i have the samsung digimax 401 digital camera..but when i insert sd memmory card showing "card error".. what's the problem..?
You just need to format the card in the camera. This will completely erase it so download any pics first using a card reader if necessary.

Hi! my daughter lost and instruction manual for her samsung digimax 500 series. i'm trying to find out how to upload photos.
Should be able to interface with a computer via USB connection that came with the camera. Pictures on a memory card can be printed at a store with a photo lab, like CVS, using a Kodak kiosk. You can put the card in the machine, print pics or save them to a cd.

if you ave the camera's installation cd try reinstalling it
if nothing happens try my computer you may find it under removable drive if it still does not work and ur pics has been saved on a memory card try using a card reader to access the file on it

I lost my software
Download drivers from the samsung website (http://www.samsungcamera.com/). The drivers for the 401 should work for the 4010. If your new computer is running Vista, they may not have a driver, in which case you will need to use a memory card and card reader to read the photos directly.

Download pics
If you are using a removable memory card, you can get the images directly from the memory card by using an external card reader (if your computer does not have a card reader for your type of card built in). If you need to download the pictures directly from the camera via the usb cable, you can get the driver from the samsung website... you'll probably have to download drivers for the model 401 which I believe is the same as the 4010. If your computer is running Vista, new drivers may not be available, in which case you will need to use a memory card and card reader.
