Same problem with my Toshiba volume goes down on its own and I have to push the volume button to get to turn up but then it goes right back down again it's like there is a sensor problem or something

i have had the same problem with my Toshiba 62" DLP. Its insane. its defiantly hardware. i have played with every setting i have turned off everything to do with sound including the speakers, i have removed the remote as a variable, everything produces the same result. the volume randomly decreases its volume to 0 and when it gets there continues to to to go down more. i have determined that it is not a quick fix, but I'm ...done putting money into this machine. if anyone has come up with a quick fix I'm open to any ideas

Hi,

Some dust in the button to lower the volume on your TV or on your remote control might be causing it to think it's being pressed. Try playing around with it, pressing it hard so as to relieve it of any pressure on the inside.

Let me know if that fixed it. If it did, I'd appreciate it if you could change the rating to "Fixya". :)

JVC LT47 that picture goes black (sound fine) after being on for awhile. Can turn TV off, then back on & it's fine. But then happens again about ever hour or so.

Hello
Hello
It is due to some loose soldering points [dry soldering we say it technically], in the power supply section of the TV. Just check for it. Check the solderings of all components, that will heat up to an extent when the TV works on. Repeated heating and cooling may make solderings to the terminals of that components to get loose. Just resolder all the suspected solder terminals, by applying a little more solder, without making any solder bridge short in between adjecent solder terminals. This must solve the problem to your tV. OK.

My JVC LT-42X579 42 in. LCD TV is only 13 MONTHS old and it suddenly won't turn on anymore. The blue power light comes on -as usual- but after 3 seconds, it will start blinking and it will remain that way...

I contact JVC and was told to first make sure your cable box or whatever you use to normally watch TV is powered on and is ready to work
He told me to unplug TV for 10 seconds at least. Then he had me press and hold down the "MENU and VOLUME DOWN (-)" buttons, at the same time for about 10 seconds. Then after 10 seconds of holding the 2 buttons down, he had me continue to hold the 2 buttons and press and let go of the power button. In other words after 10 seconds of holding down the volume down (-) and menu buttons, add the third button (power) and immediately let go of all 3 buttons, at the same time.
It worked for me instantlynd hopefully it works for you!!!

Samsung lns4095dx/xaa after 30min the screen goes

The first place to start is with the Main bd. The second cause would be the T-con bd. Have a trained Samsung tech troubleshoot to find out and repair the set.

Toshiba (Model : 36A43) - volume goes down automatically

I am having same problem on 32 inch same problem. After playing with board with no results,I tried front buttons and found that if I held the power button in ever so slighItly as not to turn it off, it fixed problem which is the micro on/off switch, I removed the switch and used the remote and everything is back to normal, I am about to insall a used micro switch after I finish typing this but I am sure this will clear up volume problen and menu going crazy problem if not I will just leave micro switch out and use the remote, and I will get back to this board only if that micro switch still causes the problem, so if I don't post in next hour the problem is fixed and I'm more than glad to help.

Get get any responce on my JVC AV27530 27" TV

,,always unplug the set from AC,leave off a few minutes,,then re-plug back in,,that resets the micro--also,it could be the volume up button stuck-that would kill the other keys from working--you could try with a tooth pick to pull VOL UP back----THIS IS DANGEROUS --SHOCK HAZZARD!!! if someone is technically incline, with the back of the tv off,,turn set on and unplug the keyboard plug from the main circuit board while the set is playing--then use the remote and see if the fuctions returned-THIS IS DANGEROUS-SHOCK HAZARD---I REPEAT -DANGEROUS!!!! PLEASE BE CARFULL,if that cures the problem-you have a bad keyboard-you can just leave it unplugged and use the remote----JUST BE CARFULLLLLLL
