I have a Memory Craft 300E and my designs start out okay and then I get the birdsnest. I have cleaned and rethreaded my machine several times. I keep messing up my projects.

No, the designs on a memory card for the Memory Craft 300e do not work in the MC8000, or vice versa. The designs on memory cards for the MC9500 will work in the MC300e. See http://janome.com/en/learn/software-lessons/transferring-designs/compact-flash-card-mc9700-mc9500-and-mc300e/ for some information. The physical cards appear to be the same. If you have extra space on an existing card, you could put another file onto the card with the appropriate format for the other machine.
The MC300e reads a .JEF file; the older MC8000 reads the .SEW file.
Hi what you need to do is change the format as it is only able to process the one format. What you can do is search online for software that converts the formay for you most of these sites are free so have a look you whould find plenty. Alot of people have this problem but changing the format get round this ok let me know if you need further assistance ok
Mmm I suggest that you try another flash card, I have encountered several that do not work properly, and there appear to be several scam copies with nothing in.
It's too thick in that area. this happens sometimes when you get designs made for one of the larger or professional machines. Not much you can do unless you have a digitizer and can reduce the amount of under stitching.
Ok... the arm that the hoop attaches to could be bent and not moving freely. Because it sticks out the back of the machine it can be bent by tilting the machine backwards. You can try to hand bend it to correct the problem. The other cause will be wear in the belt system if you have used it a lot. I have seen a few that the whole embroidery unit needed to be replaced because of use.

# Insert your memory card into your computer's reader if you have one. If not, you can purchase a multi-format USB Memory Card reader from Amazon.com or Buy.com # 2 Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives. # 3 Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive. # 4 In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'. # 5 Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place. # 6 Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.
