Sounds to me like your idle speed control sensor is going bad.

I have a 2009 Kia Rio automatic. Has 27,000 miles

you don't say whether it's diesel or petrol, If diesel it has a vacuum pump to give pedal assistance, these have a valve in the pump that can cause such a problem, if however it's petrol I would suspect a master cylinder fault. Regards Mike

Problem with Automatic Transmission in 2002 Kia Rio Cinco

Have you checked the fluid level? Was there any oil leak spots under the car?
Correct any low fluid level and give it a try.
If the fluid is at the correct level, disconnect the battery for 10 mins then reconnect and try it again,if it still won't work you may have to have a transmission expert take a look at it.
You can put in a used transmission if needed and not spend lots of $$$ for a rebuilt trans,or just buy another complete vehicle to drive and not fix your 2002.

My 2002 kia rio is kinda load and vibrates when at a stop sign or in park

its because or engine rpm is below 800 when u remove your foot from the gas pedal, try adjusting your engine rpm to 800 or above to get a smoother idle speed

While sitting at lights even pressure on brake pedal. brake pedal sinks to floor . engine revs drop to 600 rpm's . when brake pedal is released engine rev's increase to 900 rpm's? Dealer mechanics say it...

not normal at all,a couple of causes 1 small valve at the front of the servo unit,2busted pipe coming from the servo unit,3the servo unit itself needs replaced.so where is the servo unit?.if you lift the hood you will see in front of the brake pedal only inside the engine compartment look closely and try to judge it ,its about the size of a bottom of a small sauspan only about 4/5 times the thicknes, thats your servo and that where your problem is.adrian,,,
