My motorola razor will not link with my blue tooth device (motorola T 305). When I use the "Find Me" it says "Discoverable: 3 minutes".When I try "Look for device" it scans but says nothing found. The T305 works with other phones, just not this phone. Any suggestions?

What does it mean by available devices when you turn blue tooth on on your phone

you can sometimes set the other bluetooth devices to be discover able . If you don't the phone won't see the devices via bluetooth .
Sometimes when you put a device in pairing mode it is making its self discoverable other times you have to set it to be discoverable and then put it in pairing mode.

Bluetooth is a low power radio system that connects devices together.
Say you had taken a photo on your phone well with a computer paired to your phone via bluetooth you can share the file via blue tooth to the computer via the radio link blue tooth system.

If you had a bluetooth hands free system in your car you could pair it with you phone and use it with the phone .

  1. Turn off the headset.
  2. Press and hold the headset button for about eight seconds, until you hear the startup tone and then five quick high beeps.

The headset is now discoverable and will remain so for about five minutes. The status light blinks while the headset is discoverable.

How can you send a ring tone or sound to another phone from razrv3a?

Hi Motorola tends to do Bluetooth sending differently. Make sure your receiving phone is set to discoverable and B/Tooth ON. On the Motorola turn on B/tooth and find file you want to send. With the file highlighted press option and you should find 'move to' and 'copy to'. If you select move to, it will send file to receiving phone, but remove itself from the Motorola! Best to use 'copy to'. If the Motorola cannot find the receiving phone once searching, to send the file you may have to pair the two devices first. To do this it is best to go into Motorola's B/tooth menu and set it to 'discoverable' this will stay active for a few minutes. Then on the receiving phone search for new devices in B/tooth menu. It should find the Motorola and request a four digit pin which default on most phones is '0000' if this fails try '1234' (it will be one of those, more likely first one). Once both paired try sending file again and it should work. Let us know how you get on?

Discoverable Mode

Here is the on-line manual: http://www.motorola.com/mdirect/demos/how2_h3/main.html -First off make sure the headset charges for at least two hours. Also make sure theindicator light turns on indicating charging is occurring. -After the charge is complete you will need to refer to your phones manual to pair the headset to the phone. The discover mode is a mode the phone goes into not the headset. I don't have an LG8600 nor can I find a manual on-line so I can't help you with that part. If you still need assistance let us know and please don't forget to rate the posting.
