Where can i find a free copy of ms publisher 97 lost my cd, pc crashed and cannot open a brochure anymore !

Microsoft Office 2007 is not available for download anymore. Here's a link from where you can buy and download MS Office 2010.. Here is a link to the trial version.

Alternatively, you can use Open Office, it's free and as good as MS Office

Publisher is a program that makes it easier to make "posters" and "brochures" and "newsletters".

Start the program. Click "New". Click "start a new FLYER", or "start a new BROCHURE", or "start a new NEWSLETTER", to use some of the pre-defined templates that define the layout of your publication (fan-fold, multi-column, et cetera).

Sad to say there is not genuine free copies of MS office 2007. To get genuine copy you have to buy it from authorised microsoft vendors or buy online from microsoft.

If you want a copy you can try googling the "TORRENTS" sites to find one you need.

I don't use that program but perhps I can easy your anxiety a little. You won't lose your brochure if you back it up. Without opening the programs you tried to open your brochure in simply go to the file itself that contains your brochure and copy it to a dvd or a portable media storage. Depending on the size of the file you may be able to zip it and email yourself a copy. Now that your work is safe and away from danger you can try to focus on what is freezing your computer. perhaps instead of trying to convert to PDF format you may try the print command. Instead of printing to your printer, select PDF as your printer. When I create a lengthy project, I always save a few copioes on my computer under different names so i have safety nets just in case I mess up. Good Luck
