Replace the print cartridge When you notice that the print becomes light or ink low or when install new ink cartridge appears in the display, replace the print cartridge. The part number for replacement cartridges is HP 701. 1. Take out a cartridge from its packaging and carefully remove the tape covering the printhead. try this unistall all the software and drivers associated to your unit then disable your anti virus and firwall fter disconnecting from the web . then run a fresh install for your all in one. doing this fixes alot of install problems.
To reset the sensor after installing a new toner cartridge follow these steps.
1. With unit powered On, open the front cover.
2. Press the "Options" key. Display will show "Replace Drum?"
3. Press "Start" key.
4. Press 1,0 .
5. Display will show "Accepted" for approximately 2 seconds. Then display will change to "Cover Open".
6. Close cover and see if Toner Life End error message has gone.
Please note that this must be done with a new cartridge so the unit will see that there is toner in the cartridge.
Surely you don't have blank copies rec'd and sent as these are two different parts of the machine entirely. I'll assume you mean rec'd and copied. Sounds like you've left a packaging seal on the cartridge to me - or it's a faulty cartridge. Remove the cartridge and check that all packaging has been removed - especially plastic strip that prevents toner from dropping into the cartridge.
It's important to gently move the toner cartridge from side to side to distribute the toner evenly through the cartridge. This could be causing your blank lines. Also, clean the Corona wire when installing a new toner cartridge. Best of luck.

hi, first take a printer self test to check if the cartridge is installed properly,as sometimes we forget to remove the protection tape on the nozzel of the new cartridge.. let me know
