I copied this from a previous FixYa request. It exactly matches my GE PSH23PGRB-BB. I changed main board - it behaves the same! Interface Dispenser Board WRX55X10435 next or is it the ice maker auger/crushiher motor? It makes ice just fine. Ken By Here2Engr on Nov 23, 2008" " To all those wonderful experts, You seem to have done a great job in helping the people in need of help for various appliances. Now, I would appreciate any help that I get from you. I have a two and half year old GE PSS26MSTASS Refrigerator and few days ago it stopped dispensing ice and water all together. Being an engineer, I messed around a little and found that if I removed the small light bulb that lights the water/ice dispensing area, the water dispensing started functioning fine, but not the ice (no cubed, no crushed, etc). The strange thing is when I press the dispensing panel push buttons for ice or cubed ice or crushed ice and then then try to get ice, nothing gets dispensed, but it seems like the fridge resets (goes quiet) for I think over a minute. I started using water dispenser by removing the light bulb. But in the recent past, even the water dispenser started malfunctioning in spite of no light bulb in its holder. It goes off and on. When water dispenser is not working, if I switch off and switch on the whole refrigerator, it starts working immediately and stays working for some time. But, it goes back to non-functioning state with in a matter of about 30 minutes. If I take the ice bin/bucket out from freezer, I can turn the augur motor with my hand. No problems there. I also see the ice maker working and forming new ice cubes in ice bin. I am thinking "Interface dispenser asm bk" may be the issue. Could one of you help me out and let me know how I can approach this problem? Many many thanks in advance for your help

It sounds like you have hit the nail on the head so to speak,,,
i would remove the panal and inspect the dispensor board for burnt contatcs,,, it sounds like you have a short on the board and resetting it, until selection backs that up. I know it is an expensive board but htat is exactly where i would go from your diagnosis alone..

it is nice to see some people try a few things on their own

HI,

You shall do the same with MPF. Create a regex filter to identify the types of files you would like to block,

e.g. 1
2
3
4
5 regex archive-type1 ".*\.([Zz][Ii][Pp]'[Tt][Aa][Rr]'[Tt][Gg][Zz]) HTTP/1.[01]"
regex archive-type2 ".*\.([Tt][Aa][Rr].([Gg][Zz]'[Bb][Zz]2)'7[Zz]) HTTP/1.[01]"
regex doc-type1 ".*\.([Dd][Oo][Cc]'[Xx][Ll][Ss]'([Pp]){2}[Tt]) HTTP/1.[01]"
regex doc-type2 ".*\.([Pp][Dd][Ff]'[Oo][Dd][Tt]) HTTP/1.[01]"
regex exe-type1 ".*\.([Ee][Xx][Ee]'[Vv][Bb][Ss]'[Vv][Bb][Aa]) HTTP/1.[01]"
Create regex for Content-Type Application/*

1
2 regex application-header "application/*"
regex content-type "Content-Type"
Classify regex that matches the extension types
class-map type regex match-any ext-types
match regex doc-type1
match regex doc-type2
match regex archive-type2
match regex archive-type1
match regex exe-type1

Capture the http response that contains content-type and application/* header
2
class-map type inspect http match-all http-header-response
match response header regex content-type regex application-header
Capture http request packet that matches the class ext-types
1
2 class-map type inspect http match-all http-request
match request uri regex class ext-types

HTTP is the interesting traffic
1
2
3
4 access-list http-traffic extended permit tcp any any eq www
access-list http-traffic extended permit tcp any any eq 8080
class-map http-traffic-class
match access-list http-traffi

Create policy to prevent download attempt via http request
1
2
3
4
5
6
7 policy-map type inspect http block-http-download
parameters
protocol-violation action drop-connection log
class http-header-response
drop-connection log
class http-request
reset log

Apply policy on the interesting traffic
1
2
3 policy-map inside-http
class http-traffic-class
inspect http block-http-download Apply the policy onto interface to take effect
1 service-policy inside-http interface inside
Hope this would help.

My G E model tfg27pfxb I looking for a pc board

Hi!!
You can order the Main Board from GE at this site https://www.geapplianceparts.com/GEApplianceParts/Dispatcher?REQUEST=ACCESSORY
The price of the Board is $189.00 and it is the part 801 on the diagram below:

Good Luck!! A HELPFUL - 4 THUMBS - rating for this solution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for using FixYa.

GE GSH25JFTA BB getting VERY warm on defrost

Look at the drawing below. #240 is the defrost thermostat and it clips near the top of the coils of the freezer. It is about the diameter of a quarter and has 2 wires coming out of it. Its job is to reach a certain temperature and then cut the power to the defrost heater. To check it you will need for it to be cold and then use an ohm meter to read ohms through the 2 wires coming from it while it is disconnected from the circuit. Hold it in your hand until you feel it click and then you should not be able to get a reading through it. A normal failure of this part is exactly opposite of what you are describing but it is the control that allows power to the heater.
What you are describing does sound more like the main board going bad. Sometimes when it cycles on to cool you can hear a clicking from the board but not always. I also have found some loose solder joints on the relays on that board. Be aware if your going to look at it the unit needs to be unplugged as 110 volts will be present.

Here are the part numbers.
Defrost thermostat is WR50X10068
The board is WR55X10942

the front panal is called the interface. this interface has a small controlboard in it that talks to the main controlboard. I would change the interface first but in small ocations the main board would need to be replaced also. the interface part number is

Ice Maker won't produce ice through the door

You either have a bad interface board ( touch board ) or a bad main control board . You would have to go into the test procedure from the touch board to determine which is bad . The more I think about it though , I tend to lean towards the main control board . Once you get into the test mode , 0 and 4 would test communication between the 2 boards .
