My gigabyte mother board not good working

I installed the windows xp sp2 64bit, my system not good work. i used the gigabyte motherboard GA-MA78GM-US2H with AMD QUAD X4 PROCESSOR. not good working my system.. plz help me..

Hello!

I only can say that is the better xp sp3 32 bit, that anything else, xp sp2 or sp3 always make a problem, and then must be faster, but isn´t.
I try Vista, xp 64bit ( only few days, I was patient), but I am conclude that is the best system, that don´t make a trouble, that is xp sp2 or sp3 32 bit.

Take your computer to a good repair shop. There's no way anyone can help you fix such a complicated problem in this forum

it should work fine .there may be woring instaling prosses. some high configreation computer not work it means in ashort periode xp- can crash as in 4 gb ram. please try sp -3 .it can help u.

there are pages of information on the board , it's specifications , the chip it runs and ram sockets
win xp is an operating system and as long as the chip is fast enough is what matters

i dont at all think that it is a problem. If windows 7 is not detecting your built-in via 1708s sound card then try installing the latest drivers from the gigabyte website or the via official website. If that doesn't work then try installing an add-on sound card that you can buy from anywhere.

My AMD x4 processor problem with gigabyte motheraboard

please load windows xp 64 bit . it will work well.
also check the temperature of motherboard and processor in bios
if temperature high use good heat sink and cpu fan .

You will need to install the audio drivers after installing the xp. These drivers will be provided in the cd given by the PC maker or can be easily searched and downloaded from the internet.

Probably, I would either buy and XP disc, or download one off the internet using utorrent, then isohunt.com. And having just SP1 leaves you open to worms, viruses, trojans, and etc. Also make sure your BIOS is up to date too.

go to device manager and right click on the items not installed and go to properties. click update driver and use search automatically make sure your connected to internet and it will check windows update for drivers

if this does not work the will be a model number on the board starting with ga- get this and go to gigabyte site and search for drivers

Problem in xp installation

hello,

If you have cd utility to motherboard, then insert it to the CD ROM and install all the driver so that everything were fine.

If you hve no cd utility then you can download it from here:
