When you connect a device (a lightpipe optical ADAT for example) to your audio interface such as the Digi 003 be sure to change the "Hardware" settings in the File Menu, from internal to optical, and ADAT for using for using an optical ADAT device, such as the M-Audio Octane. This will stop the pops and clicks that happen when the clocking is not set for ADAT.
Hi First thing to do is a hard reset. Merely unplug the power cord for 4
hours, then power up again. In order to dissipated the remaining current
stored in the memory and disconnect all unit connected.
1. You should be able to connect the midi up to the digi 001, if not get an 002, 003. The 001 is so outdated and will not support newer pro-tools software especially plug-ins.I know I had the 001. Now with the 003 rack(love it).and PT 7.4. Research how to plug a midi device into PT.
2.Would google EMU XL compatability.
3.refer to 2.
4. No just memory(RAM)
5.cool...yes why couldn't you?
6.You should be able to come out of the digi, then to a power amp, then the BAs
