My microwave is less than a year old and it has quit working want to check fuse but don't know where it is located can you help me

Does the power panel have anything on it?? If not. it probably has a burnt fuse inside the unit, one year old should have a warranty on it Check out places that work on microwaves.

Repairman just diagnosed mine as a bad display board, it quit working while nobody was even home, and cost $269 with a $70 service fee. The microwave is less than 2 years old and only cost @$400 new. I was lied to by the salesman when I made the purchase (imagine that, a salesman lied to a customer) he told me these were very good and reliable microwaves and that I should get years of service out of it, what a crock... I will never buy another Samsung appliance again, they have many many bad reviews and are made with inferior parts. I will stick with Kenmore kitchen products from now on!!!

The main fuse in the microwave is probably open, causes are! door switch, magnetron, inverter board, "if 7 years old or less" and possibly the keypad control board. I recommend having it checked out.

may want to check the thermal fuse on the magnetron or the magnetron itself.... the magnetron and the thermal fuse is located behind the control panel ... the magnetron is what actually does the heating and there is a thermal fuse/limit usually attached to the side in case it gets to hot or shorts out... good luck to you

Take the microwave back to where you got it, whatever is going on it should still be covered under warranty. it may just be a fuse but a warranty is a warranty. Make sure to take your manual with you just in case they give you any ****. Warranty is located on pg. 15?

Took microwave out, opened back, 15amp fuse blown. Replaced all ok.

There is an internal fuse and internal TCOs (thermal cutouts / thermostats) any of which can interrupt the power to the unit.

Since it's less than one year old, it should be fully covered under warranty. I'd suggest contacting the manufacturer to get it fixed free.

check your thermal fuse its about 2 inches long white on the outside black on the inside it has 2 wires going to it check for

cotinuity becareful of the capacitor you need to disapate that first by touching the two teminals together with a screw driver
