Go to the Garmin site and buy the 2010 map update for it.
BUT.....If you go on eBay you can but a Garmin 855 for $200 (worth $600) which will have 2010 maps and .....you can speak to it.....such as the next address you want.....(no typing an address ) and your cell phone can be easily bluethoothed through it too.
This might be more convenient and save time?

Tanx for the reply but the problem still exists with areas/roads that may be 10/20/30 years old....Also its annoying when the unit predicts what you are typing and gets it wrong, meaning i have to retype the adress..is there a fix for this problem??
It is likely that your install map software is "original" (a 2007 or 2008 version). The newest maps are 2010, and can reflect a significant change over those installed especially if you are traveling to newly constructed areas, etc. Map updates are not free (although your first one may be - you'll have to talk to Garmin Customer Support). One of the best deals Garmin offers is "Lifetime Maps". For less than the cost of two map updates, you can purchase a a lifetime subscription for that particular nuvi 200W. Maps are updated and made available for download up to 4 times per year. You are able to download each of them with you subscription. Contact Garmin Customer Support to learn more about the maps - and how to update the firmware (free) on your nuvi 200W, as I'm sure it is overdue.http://www.garmin.com/garmin/cms/site/us... I hope this was helpful!
