If the ice is on the back panel especially a block of ice in the middle left part of your panel, then you have a sealed system problem. Check to make sure that your condensor coils above the refer are clean, and if it continues to have an ice block then you have to have a technician come out an do a major repair. This is not something you can do yourself, most subzeros have a 6 to 12 year sealed system warrantee that covers either all of the repair or just parts. This is an expensive repair if it is not warranteed, but when the refers cost 8000 to 10000 new it is usually well worth it. Most often it is the result of a slowly leaking evaporator, though most inexperienced technicians replace the compressor first, so make sure you use an experienced Sub-Zero technician. The reason for the ice forming, is the drain tube is blocked causing water that normally drains-away to freeze.i usu pipe cleaners for this job atach a couple together and run them down the drain pipe to clear it do this every couple of months and you will have no more problems.adrian;;;

Subzero 550 bottom feezer will not drain

This only sounds like a blockage in the condensate collection pan below each evaporator. Your model has a evaporator below each the freezer and the fresh food compartment. You will need to unplug the refrigerator ansd remove the panels covering these evaporators in order to see these condensate collection trays. Go to page 81 in the=> Sub-Zero_Built-in_500_Series_Refrigerator_Service_Manual.pdf You are going to have to remove these panels to understand what to look for when it comes to condensate collector pans with the drain in the middle bottom of each. Ask questions if you want I am here to help, Thanks Sea Breeze
I am pretty sure you are having a defrost drain blockage problem. Most defrost every eight hours and over a period of time the drain line that comes down from freezer into a cup like object top middle and back of the fresh food section. If blocked by gunk or ice you will see trails of liquid leaking down the rear wall of fresh food compartment until it reaches the crisper drawers. This is not always the same with every model as you may see frozen ice flowing down the rear wall of freezers on side by sides. Here is an example Click here=> Whirlpool Leak Photo taken by TechnicianBrian He has been around a good bit and deserves credit for his contributions. Here is another way to make this look more simple in clip below. TechnicianBrian.com And in this photo are several parts listed in photo group #1 were it is most likely running down the wall=> MagicChef CTB1921AR fresh food section. If you still have questions please ask and rate me if I was able to explain this well enough. Every refrigerator is made different so these are examples only. The key is to find if ice or just gunk has blocked you defrost drain. Unplug and then remove the rear panel in back of freezer. We need to see if the water is overflowing the condensate drain tray or if the blockage is in the turn the
drain leads down back of your refrigerator. Much more on this page=>

your drain may be plugged... it will need to be clean and clear... it may freeze too it you have ice in it you will need to add a drain heater to keep it clear

Ice acculation under crisper drawers

No. There is, however, a drain hole in the back center that tends to get plugged. Remove the lower two drawers and see if it is plugged. It drains to a pan under the unitand behind the kickpanel
