Micro sd card not reading songs

I put my micro sd card into the adapter, slid it into the slot, and moved mp3 music files onto it. I then put the micro sd card into my phone, but my phone did not recognize that i had any of the new songs on. I synced all my whole library to the micro sd to see if it was the song or the card and it picked up 1/4 of my library when on my phone but recognized all the songs when I put it back into my computer to see what was all on it.

Yes, Brother there is one probability that your sd is formatted in fat-32 file system. For that i would like to say phone can only read FAT not FAT-32. Go to my computer, select sd drive properties and format it with FAT file system. Then load the files and you will be able to see it in your phone. If it works don't forget to vote here. For any proble contact me [email protected] or [email protected]

I the same problem with my phone. After double checking, I realized some of my music files were in Mp4 format. They were also password protected songs I downloaded from itunes. I had to unlock and convert them using Protected Music Converter. You can download a trial version at www.WMA-MP3.com

I bought a micro sd premium cell phone flash memory card and not sure how to use it to download mp3 player songs to it

Do you have the adapter also. Will your computer accept the SD card with adapter? Or do you know someone with a computer that will read the SD cards. If so just plug the card into the computer and copy the MP3's onto it you want. If it will work in your computer, go to -> my computer right click the my computer icon or the "start" button also will work, chose explore and look for the folder where your MP3 files are located, copy and paste the songs you want onto the new card. remove the card and put it in your phone. You got music now.

Unable to get windows media player to load songs onto a micro SD card for use in an LG cell phone. It keeps saying disk is copy protected. I ripped the CDs as MP3. Turned off copy protection. The...

Go to start menu, my computer and leave that window open.

Then go to start menu, my music and leave that window open

Then you can drag songs from music straight to SD card.

Right click on your mp3 file, go to properties, Make sure read only is NOT checked.
TIP: You can copy all files by clicking the first file, then hold the SHIFT key, and then lastly clicking the last file. Then all files will be highlighted.

How do i download music fRom my computer onto a SanDisk with a micro in my cell phone

hi what you will need to do is either use a USB cable from your pc to your cell phone, the memory stick (micro sd) will show as a removable device then just copy and past the mp3 files that you want to copy, the other way is to buy a sandisc micro card adapter, this looks just like a normal SD card, but at the top of it there is a slot that you put the micro SD card in then put it in a card reader as normal, then transfer the music over to that disc, when done just pull your micro sd card from the adapter and insert it into your cell phone as normal and away you go...hope this helps

I`d like to use the mp3 on my GPS but don`t know how to put music or pics on

You need a standard SD digital memory card (not the newer HC high capacity cards as Magellan does not guarantee compatibility although I did get one to work that was a micro SD card with the full SD adapter). You will need to put your mp3 music files from your PC onto the SD card just as you would your mp3 player; insert the SD card into an SD slot on your computer, laptop or USB adapter and copy the files to the card. After files are saved, put the card into the slot on the right side of the Maestro and then refer to the User Manual (http://www.magellangps.com/support/product.asp) page 64 to see how to play the music. You can play through radio speakers or by using headphones/ear buds with a USB connector.

How do I use the SanDisk adaptor and the SanDisk 2GB microSD

Hello,

The micro card (the smaller one) can be used alone in a port that accepts (microSD ports)such as those on a Sansa c240, c250, e250 etc.
If you have a regular SD slot (larger than microSD) then you plug the micro card in the adapter and plug the whole into a regular SD slot.

Plug the card in your computer and copy paste the files. Or plug the micro card in an MP3 player that accepts it and use you music transfert software.

You only have one card (the micro SD one), which you can use in two possible slots.

Hope it helps.

Doesn't show mp3 files on micro sd card

You have to drag and drop only the MP3 files into the music folder. If you have them organized and in folder by artist, drag only the MP3s into the card's Music folder.

My LG Chocolate VX8550 wont recognize micro sd card

Here are the steps I took:

  1. Insert the micro sd card with the metal plates facing you (that took me a second). Don't worry about the little push you have to give.
  2. Go to the Settings & Tools option in the Menu.
  3. Select *. Memory
  4. Selct 3. Card Memory
  5. Select Options while the bar is on "1. Memory Usage". The only option available to me was 1. Format and select that.
  6. It will ask for the phone lock code-if you have never set it IT IS THE LAST 4 DIGITS OF YOUR TELEPHONE NUMBER.
  7. The phone will format the card and put the file folders on it.
  8. Use the adaptor USB reader or whatever you have to connect it to the computer. Copy songs to the my_music folder.

for mp3 as ringtones:

  1. You should select the part of the song you like, and can add effects with this:http://www.mptrim.com/
  2. To set it as a ringtone, send it as an attachments to you [email protected]. It must be small to go through, around 30 seconds.
  3. You will get a text message, and select options. Select Save As Ringtone.
