Oo buck time!

Ok newE-260. WMP 11 can not get wmp 10 to load. Recorded a bunch of brand new cd's, tried Rhapsody, then Drag and drop, then winamp, Yahoo music box. MC mtp whadda F__is that crap. Treid both ways. Funny some willbe there and if shuufle I get the box but it goes away and the music plays. Next song is usually from same artist.

Someone got an easy fix to prevent THE DREADED RED BOX with BAD TRACK in it.

I am going back to WMP 9 unless you gurus out there have A fix that works.

Thanks Plenty.....Blackops0321

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from the Sansa website.
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.aspx

How do I load my music cd's into my computer then download them to my new polaroid MP3 player

Windows media player will do it automatically.

If not :

Place a cd into the try and close it.

Open WMP.

Open the CD in WMP.

Select all songs, and click the RIP tab.

They should, by default, go to "My Music" folder in a folder named after the CD your ripping.

When you attach your MP3 player,

Autorun will ask what do you want to do?

say open a folder to view files, or let WMP sync up to it.

You can manually drag and drop your files to the MP3 player.

Cant get any of my wmp 11 music to download to it

You can use the easyRip software's Player Loader module to easily put music on the device. Otherwise, you can always drag and drop media using Windows Explorer or use the WMP Sync option (may require the device to be in MTP mode)

Sansa e260 mp3 player came with no software cd

There is no Software Needed for this Player. It is Designed to "SYNC" with Windows Media Player. If you have got the latest WMP you will be OK, If Not, Download the New WMP. When you Start WMP on the Tabs at the Top, One of them will say Sync. Just Click and Drag your Songs to the Pane on the Right. When you are Ready Press Sync at the Bottom and it will Put them on your Player.

Sansa e260 won't accept songs

Hi Janworks4u. Question for you... Did your mp3 work fine with WMP 10? I ask because WMP 11 is known for causing problems w/mp3 players. You can try reverting to WMP 10 to see if that fixes your problem. To do this:

click START, click on CONTROL PANEL, ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS (look at the top center of the Add or Remove Programs box that pops up for a little square you can click on that says "show updates." Click that box and then scroll down to WMP 11. Click to change/remove. A box will pop up confirming that you will revert to WMP 10. NOTE THIS WILL NOTE DELETE ANYTHING FROM YOUR COMPUTER! All of your music that is in WMP 11 will still be there in WMP 10!

Now you can try to load your songs back on through WMP 10 and hopefully it'll work for you. Good luck!

Album art

u can use the other mode to put the album art on it too....
just drag and drop the album art using wmp 11...
if that doesn't work the slow way is to use iriver plus 3 and add it manually.
i suggest organising your files by placing albums into individual folders with their album art...
u can also use other programs like itunes or winamp to add album art...
