Here's an article in the Lexmark website on A Printhead Error Is Appearing on a Lexmark E250d(n), E350d, E352dn, or E450dn Printer. Just click on this link: http://bit.ly/9GQzbO. If all else fails, it may require service. I would also suggest you replace the power supply.
If you have that error on the display, you need to replace the photoconductor kit. Here's the link to the Lexmark website to guide you on how to replace the photoconductor kit: http://bit.ly/bNhXQ2. Take note of step #9 on how to reset the photoconductor counter. Hope this helps.
Hello, Photoconductor is the part of the printer where the image gets created this is a very delicate and important part in the Laser printing process. If you open the printer and remove the toner, you should see it sometimes is like a green or blue color. The message 84 is just telling you that the photoconductor has reached the end of life and needs to be replace. Here is also a link on how to do the replacement http://bit.ly/bn2HFc
Your printer is having a Heating unit. It is out of work now. You have to take the printer to a servise centre for replacing Fuser. If it is under warranty, repair will be done at no cost
Reset Procedure(s) Resetting the Lexmark E340/342 (display type) machines 1) Turn the printer off 2) While still off, press and hold the SELECT and RETURN buttons. 3) Keep both buttons pressed, and turn the printer on. Continue to hold both until either “Performing self test” or “Config menu” appears on the display. 4) Release the two buttons 5) RESET PC CNT should now show on the display. If it does not, press the left or right menu buttons until it does. 6) Press the SELECT button once. “Resetting PC Cnt Value” should show on the display. 7) When the display shows CONFIG MENU again, turn the printer off. 8) Turn the printer back on. (Do not hold any buttons down this time). The printer is reset. You can confirm the counter was reset by printing a “menu settings page”.
