Kodak easyshare c613: memory card says its full when there is no pix on it, what happens is: i turn it on, says "memory card full", i go to review, says "no pictures or videos to display on memory card", exit review, says "memory card requires formatting" i choose to format it, says "formatting..." then its goes back to "memory card requires formatting", just keeps repeating it self. i inserted a new memory card same thing happens. the card use to work fine until one day it started saying this stuff. the card isnt locked and its the correct card for the camera, ive formatted it on the camera and on the computer. any suggestions on how to fix it? SD card 1gb and SD card 2gb are what im using.

i figured out its the pins inside the camera that help it read the memory card, 2 of them arent touching the memory card, thats why i keep getting the msg.

If you connected the camera to the computer with a USB cord to download your pics and then just yanked out the cord without using the "safely remove hardware" icon at the bottom right corner of your screen, the card may have been corrupted. Replace it.

What is all the types of memory cards for a Kodak EasyShare c142

the lack of replies suggests you'd be better off putting a memory card into anything else other than a Kodak easyshare..... just look on here at the amount of Kodak & easyshare problems there are....... but for the record, "GOOGLE" mentions 32GB works fine and class 4 or over.

My Kodak easyshare c613 says internal memory is full, then it goes to memory card requires formatting. i dont want to delete my internal photos i want save them into my memory card

you can save them to computer via usb, any new photos will store to the memory card.
unaware that you can transfer between device and card as the processor probably cannot handle the data of read and write at the same time.

Internal memory full, how do you clear this

Just review the pictures and delete them individually. Also reducing the amount of megapixels/resolution will allow you to hold more pictures. Also using a memory card will allow for a lot more pictures as well.
Thank you,

Put new batteries in but there still is no power

Check if your using the recomended batteries for this camera Easyshare C613. The batteries are 2AA Ni-MH batteries, 2 AA Lithium batteries or 2 AA Alkaline batteries. If your use this kind of batteries and they are new out from the box try this steps.
1. Remove the memory card and the battery on the camera

Kodak Easyshare C613

Just sorted similar problem on my camera. For some reason, the memory card option had reset itself to Internal only. It needs to be on Auto to take the external card into account. Press on Menu button, scroll down to Memory and select Auto. Hope it works for you too.
