(Note: some TVs will delete digital channels from the stored channels if the signal strength consistently is too low for the tuner to interpret.)
Hi my name is Mike Houston of DISH Network, with the TVswitching between channel 3 and AUX there are some things to check to resolvethe issue. You will want to make sure all connections are hand tight from thereceiver to the TV and to the wall. After all connections are hand tight checkto see if the channels are still going back and fourth. If it still persiststry changing the remote address, I will send a link that better explains thissetup; http://www.dishnetwork.com/SupportSection/remote-setup
Tries tv manual channels buttons up or down few times some analog tv will let go into the video mode. Not,try website like Remotes.com to buy the tv original remote.
This particular TV may have the same code as a Magnavox,Emerson, Funai ,or Zenith. You will have to look in the remote control manual for these codes. This TV was put together by other manufacturers. And in many cases they program these to their origin! Thanks for asking and show a few hands of support!
hmm could that be a "sylvania 6427 gff".. i have seen a suffix of FF, GFF and GFG ... but not TE ... at any rate those are actually CRT displays .. probably the last of their kind ... they produce a really good but standard defination picture ... when you first turn it on it should come up with a setup menu ... if the cable is connecgted at the time it should find at least a few digital channels ..probably no standard channels ...most of those models do have standard and digital tuners but not sure about your TE model ...you might try unplugging your set for a few hours ... when you turn it back on it should come up with the menu system ...you will likely need a cable box to get most of the cable channels... but you may be able to get some ..you could try hookinng up rabbit ear antenna to see what local channels you can get ....
well, i got a one for all remote from a wal mart or some where else, and i have a sylvania tv. it works for my tv. might want to look into that. www.oneforall.com
If tv is programmed you should be able to change channels at the tv front control panel. Also, you can buy a univeral remote and program it to your television.
many channels read "protected program by TV 14" this started with only one channel and one by one other channels are added now can only receive ch 4, 7 and 13.
go up to your TV and go into the menu. Go to the channel selection and run the auto select for channels. This will take some time but the TV will end off the first channel found, the only thing is you cannot get back into video mode without the remote
