I want a contact number to rival so i call call to see what stores sell their ice cream mix in my area

Unfortunately Rival doesn't make replacement parts available for their appliances. You can contact them directly at Sites rival products Site However I haven't ever been able to get replacement parts through them.

I have found the 90% of canister style Ice Cream makers have the same size lids. In the past I have purchase West Bends Ice Cream maker lid and it fits perfectly on both my Rival ice cream maker as well as my Back to Basics model.

The most widely available ice cream mixes come in packets and are made by Rival, Hamilton Beach and Junket. Rival is the most widely available in department stores like Wal-Mart, Target and Shopko, but they may only carry the packets in the summer. They will usually be in a cardboard display box near the ice cream makers themselves. You can also buy them from various retailers on Amazon.com or, in the case of Junket, directly from the manufacturer. That said, none of these powdered mixes come in any other flavors than vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. For caramel-rippled ice cream, make the vanilla as usual. When the ice cream machine is done, scoop it into another container, alternating some caramel topping as well. Pack lighly, cover and freeze hard. For the banana, you could try adding a couple of completely mashed bananas to any of the flavors.

Richmond Cedarworks has folded. Rival/White Mountain do not have parts for the replacement of your canisters. Richmond has went under for bankrupcy or were bought out by some private sector. The parts offered by Rival/White Mountain are different sized for all of the Richmond products. As there are no parts available, anyone looking for parts should be directed to either commercial supply stores or stores that repair/rebuild old kitchen equipment.

The tub turns around the dasher(paddle). You live in a high humid area... to much ice and salt around outside. Plus you need to age the ice cream a few hours after mixing. See your book.
