I have found this to be the issue with several differnet brands of printers when trying a wireless connection. Turn off the DHCP within the IP Configuration of the printer, then try to set it to a static ip address and gateway within your network.
Some printers won't function without the wifi having WEP or simular security running as well.
Hi,
There are a couple of steps to be performed to verfiy whether your laptop is handshaking with the newtwork printer. First assign the printer with a Static IP address. This information is provided in the administartor guide of the printer. This setting can usually be found in the network settings of the printer. Please set the subnet mask, and the default gateway. This info is found in your PC. Click start, Run, type in CMD, and new black window will pop up, type ipconfig/all press enter, this will show all the network information you will need for this. This was the printer communicating with your PC from the printer. Now the other way round.First delete the old driver of the printer and reinstall the driver. Most manufactures provide an automated click next type of install software. You can search their website for the the drivers. After reinstalling now try to print.

Yoy may reconfigured your network and IP address changed for printer. try to find printer from Start>settings>printer & faxes>Install printer>network printer
You can access the the NETWORK men on the T8006 by powering the pritner ON holding down TRAY
You should then be able to change your IP Get method and network settings.
Exit the menu by pressing the UP Arrow untill you see RESET on the display, then wait wilst the pritner restarts and it should have saved the new network settings.
You have to have the software set up on the laptop to be able to print from it. Also when you install the software make sure the laptop is hardwired to the router. I have found that if I try to set it wirelessly it won't work. I set it up hardwired to the router then it found it wirelessly. So make it short. Set up the printer on your laptop as though the laptop is actually a desktop. Then it will be able to find the printer wirelessly.
Also make sure that when you check the Network settings on the printer you have the same TCP/IP address for the printer in the PC and Laptops. I posted a long explanation on another post in this forum. You can take a look and find as a solution to someones network problem. The way I do it is to set up the router on the computer first. Hook up the internet to the router. Then set up all the other PCs on the router. Then hook up the printer to the router and turn it on. Then run the installation software for the Samsung and make sure you tell it the printer is set up on a network. See if the software can automatically detect the printer (it should). Pick your printer from the list of found devices and install it. It should work fine then. Also make sure that the Windows firewall is turned off when you do that or have it set to allow local network traffic. Good luck.
test the printer network cable for connectivity, but if the network interface fails u can use other ports like the usb port with the usb network interface adaptor to connect to the network once uve confirmed that the RJ45 network interface is bad
