I have the model OGZJ1104 and was initially flustered because most buttons would not work. The problem is that the microwave is not user friendly and the manual is poorly written. Here is the trick: the first thing you need to do is hit the Power button. It defaults of 10 (highest power), but then with each click the power levels goes down ten percent..9, 8, 7.....and such. Once you have reached the desired power level, immediately set the time you want to the oven to operate, using minutes and seconds. Once that is done, hit start and you should be good to go.
