You have a small headgasket leak from the combustion chamber to the water jacket and it is slightly pressurizing your cooling system ,it will only get worse ,it cannot get better, you will need to replace the head gasket ,but before you do take it to aradiator specialist and ask them if they would test your coolant for combustion gases .that will prove beyond doubt what is going on "youdoit"

Could be the thermostat is not opening up all the way and causeing the engine run hotter.
Water does go into the overflow tank when you turn a warm engine off. Thats why they have overflow tanks.

Toyota corolla is overheats what is problem

Need to check 4 things,
As their are no details about year or model I assume it is pre 80's and old school mechanical diagnostic is called for.
1. Condition of radiator fins be sure they are not blocked
2. Check flow of coolant May be a blocked thermostat.
3. Check condition of engine - oil too low can cause overheating.
4, Check level of coolant in radiator tank as opposed to coolant overflow. If you have a small leak, bad radiator cap or head gasket problem the expansion system will not replace coolant to tank allowing it to boil dry.

White smoke coming out of tail pipe 1989 Toyota Corolla

this could be the valve stem seals that needs replacing it is rubber seals inside the cylinder head each valve has one their function is to prevent oil in the cylinder head from ending up in the combustion chamber now because the vehicle is not used that often they become brittle and hard and therefore no longer serve their purpose

Can engine oil leak into transmission on toyota corolla 1989

Sounds like you need to get your transmission serviced as the darkened color is a sign of deteroration. As for oil to somehow make it into the transmission you would need one serious oil leak and the grommet around the tranmission dipstick would have to be pretty much gone for oil to somehow make it into the housing. Needless to say I've never seen it happen.

Gmc Sonoma 94 losing water no leaks not in oil or on floorboard. New water pump. New radiator cap.

your leak is likely in head leaking into the spark plug ignition area and burning of once vehicle is running check plugs for moisture before motor is hot, also can seal using blue rhino at auto zone I used on 6 vehicles and sealed all of them.

My s 430 has smoke coming from under hood after driving but not all the time temp gauage reads normal. I had oil and trans leaks sealed but it is still happening, what else could it be? Thanks

SMOKE UNDER HOOD COULD BE COOLANT LEAK FROM RADIATOR ITSELF OR CHECK FOR LEAKING TOP RADIATOR HOSE AND CHECK FOR LEAKING BOTTOM RADIATOR HOSE.LOOK UNDER THE HOOD IF COOLANT BOILING OUT COOLANT OVERFLOW JUG ENGINE OVERHEATING FROM BAD THERMOSTAT OR BAD WATER PUMP.CHECK FOR COOLANT LEAK AT WATER PUMP WEEP HOLE.IF SO WATER PUMP NEED REPLACING.ADD MORE COOLANT UNTIL LEVEL CORRECT.TRY LOCATE LEAK. IF CAR OVERHEATED AND BOILED IT OUT. SMOKE UNDER THE HOOD CAN ALSO BE CAUSED BY LEAKING VALVE COVERS WHICH CAN BE FIRE HAZARD IF OIL LEAKS ON HOT EXHAUST MANIFOLD.
