40:1 is the standard mix. Go buy one of the little containers ( 3.2 ounces) of 2-cycle oil and mix it with a gallon of gas in an approved container (like a gas can). How you mix it is, pour some gas in the container...about 1/4 of the gallon, then pour in the oil, mix well, by shaking the can then add the remaining gasoline and PRESTO, you have a 40:1 mix!

As with all oil/petrol mix engines. The reason for the oil is not to power the engine but merely to lubricate its engine parts. Therefore with this in mind you only need an 8th of the oil to fuel ratio in order to lubricate the internal moving parts and prevent excessive wear and ceasure.

Hope this helps

Oil ratio

I use one of those small 2.6 oz oil containers in a gallon (128 oz) to give a 50:1 mix. If you want more oil in your mix add another container - but it will be more expensive and waste oil.

My craftsman 32cc leaf blower won't stay running

Check age of gas. Cannot be more than 30 days old.
Make sure to use fresh gas w/synthetic 2-cycle oil @ 40:1 ratio (1 gal.) Gas to 3.2 oz. Oil). Do not use old or stale oil/gas mixture. Always use the proper oil/gas mix. If you do not, your engine will suffer rapid, permanent damage.May need to clean or replace carburetor.

I got a craftman 32cc gas 2 cycle blower/vac 170 Mph 360 cfm. I was having problems with it not getting fuel to carberator when I got it out this season. It would stay running as long as I sprayed fuel in...

Did you check the fuel filter in the tank for plugging and the condition of the length of fuel line that connects it to the carburetor inlet? Hope this helps!

I have a Craftsman model 358.797920 32cc blower want to know the mixture of gas per twocycle oil?

Most of these mix at 50 to 1. 500ml of oil to 5 gallons of gasoline should do it. If you don't feel comfortable with this mixture try 40 to 1.

Someone just gave me a Craftsman 32cc blower without the manual. What fuel does this use?

IF it says 4 CYCLE then it uses regular gas.(87-89 octane unleaded) Another sign to prove it's 4 cycle it should have a crankcase you keep filled with oil.
