I suddenly got a buzzing sound from my BW zeppelin speakers when a was docking my ipod touch. i also tried my Iphone and the same thing happened,

happened on mine, just try cleaning out the dock on the speaker and in your ipod and move the plug socket, hope this helps :)

try the aux feed at the back - if this works then it's probably the docking arm! (check to make sure in good order!),
has the unit been ugraded?(some ipods need upgraded software!)
have you tried another ipod? (as the pin interface on yours could be faulty!)

are there any flashing lights, does the ipod charge in situ, if it does not, then look at the docking arm.

sorry cannot be more specific but have little to work on.

the phpone gets its supply via the docking arm, the power supply board sounds like the problem b and w are aware of, contact your place of purchase or b and w service and they should repair this as the power supply boards are being upgraded because of this issue.

first try to upgrade the unit, if still the same then check if the aux is ok, if aux is ok, then it points at the docking arm, if the aux is not ok, then it relayes to either the power supply of the main interface board, they would check the power supply at b and w as this is a known problem, then following that they should check to see if anything else is wrong. contact your point of sale or b and w service.

if the red light flashes, the power board needs replacing. contact seller or manufacturer and they should fix it, boatd has known problem.

it is either your ipod video output, or the video output connection on the back. i would try a different pod, if that fails as well then send it back for repair.

don't be mislead, the red flashing light is the power supply and you need to send it back for repair and have the modified board fitted. once this is resolved they should check for any other failures, but until this is changed, things will never improve.

failty power supply problem, known to b and w, contact service if you have not already.

the power board has a known defect, contact b and w service as this is a known problem if you have not already.

You will need to check with another IPOD, if the condition still exists then it is an electrical fault with the Zeppelin itself and will need to be repaired. Contact
