Just purchased a manual wind omega. Not sure how much I should wind it. It ran out the first night probably because i did not wind it up enough.

My watch delayed every day

Looks to me it needs service when it can't store enough energy to tun through the night.
Sure it is not a battery powered watch? because then it could be the battery needs to be replaced. The colder battery can't deliver enough power to keep the watch running. Within a little time it even won't work even when warm or moving.

The tissot visodate watch is automatic not battery driven.

I would not wind the watch manually. I also have a Tissot. If you cannot wear it often enough to keep it going, you can purchase a watch box that is made for self-winding watches which will turn the watch periodically in order to keep it wound.

I have an omega spedmaster automatic 3513.50. The problem is that it works OK as long as I am winding it everyday. But if I dont wind it, it stops working even if I am wearing it. It is supposed to be an...

Sounds like the excentric weight (which is responsible for winding the watch) has either stuck or the ratchet has failed.

I suggest you have it examined by an Omega service agent.
If you go to http://www.omegawatches.com/customer-service you will be able to find your nearest dealer or service agent.

Just a quick question On my Omega Double eagle, I went to mexico for the week left my watch at home and when I return I gave it a shake to start the movement being it is a chroncile watch and for some...

A mechanical watch will tend to stop in the same place if an internal gear is slightly unbalanced and/or there's a spot of grease/dirt that makes that particular point on a gear slightly more difficult to pass. I've often seen watches with day/date indicators stop just around midnight, as it takes more energy to advance those dials than just move the hour and minute hands.
Try winding your watch with the crown as opposed to shaking it to wind it via the automatic rotor. Actual winding will bring your mainspring up to full power much faster than a whole lot of winding via automatic rotor. See if this changes the behavior of the watch. If it doesn't, you probably need to have a watchmaker take a look at the watch. He or she will probably recommend cleaning the movement to clear any dirt that might be causing the problem.

Good morning. I am considering purchasing an antique omega watch: 14k white gold AA7442 562738 case serial number The movement is from the Omega watch co.. 17 jewels swiss. Serial number 23625437...

The repair to the winder may be only £30.00 but will the watch then work well.Parts for old Omegas can cost a premium and the watch may need a service.A service to an Omega by a good watchmaker will cost £170.00 ish and if it needs parts this will rise.
As to value if its 14ct on a bracelet the gold is worth about £12.00 a grm so if its 30g then the gold is £350/£400.00
Its hard to say what to pay without knowing if the watch works well,if it needs £200.00 spending on it the value is reduced to little more than the gold value so id weigh the watch work out a gold value and then a small amount.
If you need a repair try www.rolexrepairs.co.uk they offer a free estimate.

Omega constellation self winding watch stops

Omega claim that your watch will run for 40 or more hours, so stopping overnight should not happen. I doubt if you need to be particularly active to wind up the watch, otherwise this would make the problem quite common. My one experience of owning an automatic did not raise this sort of problem.

Discuss your problem with your supplier and describe your use. As you correctly say, having to hand wind i defeats the point of buying an autoamtic. (It could be that you have been sold two duff watches, however unlikely this may seem, it could happen).

I have an omega watch thats winding knob came off, now the spring is exposed and i cannot put it back on, how do i fix it?

Unfortunately you can not fix it yourself. If the spring came out, that means your winding knob (real name is CROWN) has been worned out and the friction fitting no longer can keep it in working order. AS THE CROWNS FOR ALL WATCHES ARE MADE BY MACHINES, NO WATCH REPAIRS CAN BE SUCCESSFULL. All you can do is to go to local OMEGA dealer shop and ask for replacement. Be prepaired to pay more than you think. OMEGA parts for replacemebt cost dearly.

Omega Seamaster gaining about 10 minutes per hour

Hi honestfunguy. Take it back! Omega watches are usually guaranteed for 2 years or even 3 years (Co-axial escapement), so you should not have a problem getting it repaired under warrantee. No way should it be be gaining (or losing) 10 minutes per day, let alone 10 minutes per hour. Could be any number of things, from a broken mainspring to problems with the timing regulator, but they are very complex watches and should not be looked at by anyone apart from Omega whilst in warrantee, otherwise you'll probably void the warrantee. Hope this helps; Eagle58

Time delay

try manually winding it if you can, and see if it still happens. If it does it probably needs to be sent in for service
